A Great and Beautiful Morning to All Nigerians, Especially the North Central Region!

Today marks 65 years of our independence as a nation, and I am truly delighted that we are alive to witness this remarkable day a day that reminds us of our struggles, our growth, our story of unity, and above all, our resilience as a people.

The North Central region, blessed with diversity, multi-ethnic identities, and rich languages, continues to stand strong as we work together to build a better and stronger region. We owe deep appreciation to Mr. President for his visionary leadership, particularly with the creation and inauguration of the North Central Development Commission, headquartered in Nasarawa State. The Commission has already begun its important work which shows a clear demonstration of Mr. President’s commitment to inclusive development and nation-building.

Nigerians everywhere are known for their resilience and unmatched hard work, whether at home or abroad. Our ability to rise from challenges, rebuild, and push forward is one of our greatest strengths. This spirit of resilience remains at the heart of our pride as Nigerians. It is also the driving force behind the President’s leadership approach, ensuring inclusive development that is guided by data, statistics, and, most importantly, the voices and reports from our communities. By placing citizens’ feedback at the center of governance, this administration is ensuring that development truly reflects the needs of the people.

As we celebrate this Independence Day, I urge you to continue to believe in Nigeria. We may not yet be where we want to be, but we are firmly on the path to where we ought to be. With President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the helm, we are charting a new course toward inclusive growth and transformation.

Let us work together, remain hopeful, and build the Nigeria of our dreams.

Nigeria has happened to me, and I am proud to be a Nigerian!
