Tinubu, Sule’s Achievements Highlighted as Presidential Aide Abiodun Essiet Bags Chieftaincy Title in Nasarawa
In recognition of her exceptional contributions to community development, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagement (North Central), Dr. Abiodun Essiet, has been conferred with the esteemed chieftaincy title of Pioneer Taunraruwa of Ntsar Nku, meaning “The Shining Star of Nku Chiefdom” by the Chiefdom by His Royal Highness, Amb: Habila Adamu Aboki, JP, the Chief of Angwan Makama (Chim Nku I).
The investiture ceremony in Nku Chiefdom, Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, celebrated Dr. Abiodun Essiet’s commitment to promoting security, social welfare, and grassroots empowerment among the Mada people.

Speaking during the ceremony, Nasarawa State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Augustine Akwe Doma, presented a paper highlighting the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule, describing both as “visionary leaders committed to national transformation.” He listed progress in agriculture, education, infrastructure, healthcare, and youth empowerment among Tinubu’s achievements in under three years.
Representing the governor, Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe emphasised the importance of traditional institutions in fostering peace and unity, urging community leaders to continue playing their fatherly roles in development.
HRH Ambassador Habila A. Aboki Sa’id, the Chim-Nku of Ungwan Makama, praised Dr. Essiet for restoring peace to the community through security interventions. The royal father also honoured Senator Umar Tanko Al-Makura with the title of Madugun Chim-Nku Chiefdom for his support of the chiefdom’s creation.

In her acceptance speech, Dr. Abiodun Essiet expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, dedicating the honour to the people of Nku Chiefdom and pledging continued service to humanity.
“This honour is a call to greater service,” she said. “I will continue to uphold our culture, support our communities, and contribute to the vision of peace, security, and progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.”
She added that the recognition would strengthen her resolve to champion development initiatives and youth engagement across Nasarawa State and beyond.
