I am undertaking a three-day working visit to Kwara State, during which my office will convene a physical session of the Citizens’ Assembly, pay courtesy and working visits to relevant stakeholders, including traditional rulers, security agencies, and host communities across Kwara State.
The Citizens’ Assembly is an initiative of my office designed to provide a structured and inclusive platform for citizens to express their views, collectively identify community challenges, and propose practical solutions to inform government action.
The session will bring together selected representatives of religious institutions, traditional rulers, community leaders, youth and women groups and members of the Citizens’ Assembly, drawn from the Kwara South Senatorial District. The purpose is to engage directly with community members and key local stakeholders, gather informed perspectives for transmission to Mr. President, and update participants on ongoing Federal Government programmes and interventions across various sectors. This will help ensure that public policies and initiatives remain responsive to the genuine needs and aspirations of the people.
