The North Central region is blessed with incredible diversity

A rich blend of ethnic, languages and religious identities. Yet, this gift has too often been overshadowed by inter-ethnic disputes and violent conflicts. Lives have been lost, properties destroyed, and communities left in pain.

Marginalization of minority groups and unchecked tensions continue to tear us apart, affecting not just our security but also governance and service delivery. This is not the future we want for our people.

It’s time to rise above these divides. It’s time to embrace our shared humanity and build a future of peace and unity. My office is launching the Community Peace Initiative to foster social cohesion and bring lasting harmony to North Central Nigeria.

Together, we can heal, rebuild, and create a region where everyone thrives. Let’s make it happen.
