Visit of the Senior Special Assistants to Governors of North Central States

I was pleased to receive on a courtesy visit the Forum of Senior Special Assistants to Governors of North Central States, led by its Chairman, Hon. Prince Ezekiel Oruma, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Grassroots Mobilisation.

In his remarks, the Chairman highlighted the mission of the Forum as serving as a strategic bridge between government and the people, while working towards building a united, peaceful, and prosperous North Central Region that aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He reaffirmed the Forum’s commitment to working assiduously towards ensuring the continuity of the administration of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, beyond 2027. He also commended Mr. President’s bold decision to remove the fuel subsidy, noting that it has freed up resources for all tiers of government to invest in critical development initiatives.

The Forum further recognised and applauded the various initiatives of my office in promoting development, peace, and harmony across the North Central Region. I was particularly honoured by their kind gesture of decorating me as the Matron of the Forum.

In my remarks, I expressed my sincere appreciation for the recognition and encouraged members to remain committed to excellence, make meaningful contributions, and leave lasting impacts through their respective offices. I also commended the Forum for its grassroots mobilisation efforts and urged them to sustain the unity, collaboration, and commitment that underpin its work.

I emphasised that effective grassroots engagement and mobilisation remain critical to building public confidence, strengthening the connection between government and citizens, and securing a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the North Central Region in 2027.
